From 2008-2013 TAF founders Sean & Asha Brown worked with Lao and Thai immigrants to the United States assisting them with housing, clothing, food, jobs, as well as teaching them English in a unique and exciting way. We have seen first-hand how our English as a Second Language (ESL) courses have changed and benefited the lives of these people as they adjusted to life in the United States. We call this ESL program ACE+ ESL.
We have been implementing this program in Laos in a very unique way. Instead of starting ESL schools throughout Vientiane we feel it is better to have a collaborative effort with established, high quality schools and businesses. We feel this is a better more efficient way to reach a larger number of students and to keep expenses low. Keeping expenses low allows us to attract a higher quality teacher. Keeping low expenses also allows more profits to help under privileged in Laos, Thailand, and Philippines (All profits of ACE+ goes to helping Laotian, Thai, and Filipino’s.
